Trice Global Education - Where Knowledge Meets Opportunity
Empathy and adaptability are cornerstones of global thinking, equipping students with these qualities with the abilities necessary for survival in today's fast-changing environment. Furthermore, they're better prepared to face future challenges and become influential leaders within their community.
Schools that adopt the Global Leaders framework create an inclusive school culture centered on global competencies. This empowers both educators and students to collaborate together towards finding solutions and shaping a brighter future.

Global learning is an educational framework that explores complex global systems and legacies that influence humanity's survival. It teaches students to become informed, open-minded citizens who appreciate diversity across a spectrum of differences; acknowledge local problems transcend national borders; and work cooperatively and equitably together towards solving those problems.
Global education aims to ensure all students can access an exceptional, impactful global learning experience. To accomplish this goal, educators must create environments which foster understanding among global populations as well as critical analysis on global issues. Furthermore, educators should integrate global education across curriculum offerings so that all children have an opportunity to think critically and connect with their world around them.

We work towards building a trainee career
Due to globalized education challenges, international educators are in greater demand than ever. From policy development and advocacy work to research and evaluation projects, this field provides ample career opportunities. Through the AU ITEP program, students study the social theories that govern educational institutions and policies worldwide while in their culminating capstone project they design training, curriculum or research projects tailored specifically for their interests and professional goals.
Jerron Trice was an impressive first generation college student, making his graduate degree an accomplishment of great significance. Yet it wasn't without challenges - particularly as an unsupported financial aid recipient navigating higher learning. However, with perseverance and support from his advisors, student finance counselors, and peers he was able to reach the finish line and complete it successfully.
No matter the career path a student follows, it is important to make use of professional development opportunities and form a network of colleagues. Engaging with other international education professionals through conferences, online platforms or professional organizations is an effective way to develop your skills and knowledge while broadening your outlook and expanding perspectives that may shape the trajectory of your career path. Networking also assists when transitioning into new positions within an industry.
We bridge the gap between skilled professionals and companies
Industry-wide, the skills gap is creating serious obstacles for companies. As technology accelerates, finding professionals with specific specialized skill sets becomes harder and harder to come by. To bridge the gap, companies must implement innovative work arrangements and talent engagement strategies; working closely with universities and vocational schools to tailor curriculums that address industry requirements; offering internships or apprenticeships as a means of giving students hands-on experience while building up a talent pipeline of qualified individuals.
Rethinking educational aims requires shifting away from disciplinary silos towards an approach emphasizing critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration across disciplines. This will require adopting more tech-intensive curricula as well as developing diverse learning abilities among our children.
As our planet rapidly urbanises and globalizes, a need has emerged for education that spans multiple disciplines, addresses international issues with knowledge-based approaches, engages live projects, and uses methods defined as laboratorial or practice-oriented teaching approaches. This issue fosters critical dialogue around these ambitions as well as challenges associated with their implementation.
We focus on a practical approach
Teachers who integrate global education into their classes foster empathy and understanding among their students about world culture diversity. This allows students to acquire crucial career readiness and lifelong success skills such as collaboration and communication, intercultural awareness, critical thinking, creativity, critical problem-solving. Schools which integrate global competencies into their curriculums may produce graduates that can adapt quickly to changing workplace environments while flourishing within diverse environments.
Global educators help their students recognize and evaluate different points of view, which enables them to gain an enhanced understanding of social issues that impact people around the globe. They also advocate for an expanded view of US history that includes African American stories while challenging historical biases; this can be accomplished through classroom discussions, antiracist teaching and other strategies designed to provide a wider view of life around them.
Participate Learning's Global Leaders framework offers clear indicators for student and teacher progress to ensure schools meet their goals. Strategy coaches support schools through regular check-ins and ongoing strategic planning sessions as well as offering resources and tools that enable educators to implement global education effectively in the classrooms.
